Hi Sierra Vista Family, I’m Julia, your new Event Coordinator.
I started working at a winery in 2020 because I “really liked wine”, and needed to find a job since teaching yoga wasn’t quite possible then. I quickly, and surprisingly, learned that I loved every part of working at a winery; from learning about the different varietals, to how wine is made, to talking to people and getting them excited about the tasting experience. My enthusiasm and passion quickly took me from a tasting room associate to a shift lead.
After 2 and a half years I decided it was time to dive deeper and not just work at the events that people enjoyed, but start planning them. I knew Sierra Vista was the right fit for me at my interview with Jim and Ryan. They had all the passion that I had hoped an owner and a winemaker would have for they business, their wines, and their staff and customers.
We’ve nearly filled every month with events from small and intimate, to big and bold, none of which will you want to miss.
There will be music every month, beer being released for St. Patrick’s Day, wine barrel planter projects, sip and strolls, dinner with the winemaker, and so much more, with the best wine around, in my humble opinion. 😉
I’m so stoked to be a part of this incredible team and start finding new and exciting ways to bring people to this amazing and historic winery.
