Tasting Notes:

Léger means lightweight in French, and though this is the lighter of our two 2017 Cabernet Sauvignons, it certainly doesn’t pull any punches. The light garnet color in the glass is an intro to bright red fruits such as currant and bing cherry. Aromas of pencil shavings, mushroom and slight herbaceous notes provide an added depth to the nose. Light and bright on the palate, with soft tannins and balanced acidity, it is an ideal pair to tomato-based dishes.
