Tasting Notes:

This 2018 Syrah is very Rhone-esque with aromas of meatiness like guanciale, herbs like thyme, oregano, and marjoram, purple floral notes of violets and lavender along with hints of cocoa and dried fruits like prune. The palate has slight hints of smoke, chocolate and toasted oak. The tannins are firm but round, leading into a long finish. Goes great with rich hearty stews, roasts and grilled meat. Use marinades or braises with plenty of herbs and spices to complement the wine.
