At Sierra Vista Winery, we have the privilege of hosting some truly unforgettable events, and one that stands out in our memories is the beautiful wedding we hosted last November. It was a day that had everything — romance, elegance, and a touch of nature’s magic.

The bride and groom chose to exchange their vows outside, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of nature. Under a canopy of towering pines and with light snow-dusted Sierras in the distance, their ceremony was nothing short of magical. The serene backdrop of the oaks, pines, grape vines, and the misty mountain range created a moment that felt straight out of a fairytale. It was the perfect blend of nature and elegance.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a delightful cocktail hour in our large white peak tent. Surrounded by the crisp mountain air, they indulged in a spread of delectable charcuterie and refreshing drinks, setting the perfect tone for the evening ahead. The heated tent provided a beautiful space to relax and mingle before moving inside for the dinner reception.

As the sun began to set, the bride, groom, and their families took some quiet moments for photos in our stunning, completely private vineyard. With the glowing sunset views stretching across the vines, it was the perfect backdrop for creating memories that will last a lifetime. These intimate photos in the vineyard captured the love and joy of the day, offering a serene escape before the celebration continued.

As guests made their way inside, they were greeted by the warm ambiance of our stunning barnwood event room. With its rustic charm and panoramic views, it offered the perfect setting for an elegant dinner celebration. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the evening as the couple celebrated with family and friends.

Of course, no wedding at Sierra Vista Winery is complete without incredible wine and food. The couple worked closely with our planner, Savannah, to choose the perfect wine pairings from our vineyards, along with a thoughtfully curated menu that reflected the flavors of the season. Savannah ensured that every detail, from the “I do’s” to the final toast, was seamless. Whether guests were enjoying our signature reds or a light white, every glass was filled with our carefully crafted wines.

From start to finish, our team was there every step of the way to ensure everything went off without a hitch. Savannah worked closely with the bride and groom to take care of every little detail, making sure the couple was able to relax and savor each special moment. The timeline flowed smoothly, from the first sip of wine to the last dance.

We are incredibly grateful to have been a part of such a special day and to have witnessed this couple’s love story unfold at Sierra Vista. It was a beautiful reminder of how, with a little creativity and a lot of heart, every event can be perfect in its own unique way.
