Tasting Notes:

Our Old Clone Zinfandel comes from our nearly fifty year old Zinfandel vineyard. This vineyard was propagated from the Higgins clone which came from a Zinfandel vineyard that was planted before prohibition. Dense and chewy with firm tannins. Dark cherry, and ripe blackberry fruit notes with aromas of pie cherries, cedar, and oak. Full bodied and complex with concentrated flavors. Enjoy with pasta dishes, baked lasagna, or one of the winery's signature pizzas.
