Our February wine club release features six new wines that we are very excited to share with you. The 2020 Mourvedre with its abundance of dark fruit, and warm spice is a perfect wine for a cold winter day. This wine club also features the long-awaited release of the 2022 Picpoul. A beautifully crisp and poignant wine that is one of the most dynamic food pairing wines we have to offer.

Also, on the topic of food and wine pairing we are excited to introduce our new Chef Tim Benham. We will now offer his full menu Thursday through Sunday featuring artisan pizzas, smoked barbeque, and many other wonderful dishes. We will also be offering Sunday Brunch as well with brunch pizzas, and bottomless “Brunch Punch.”

Another benefit for our Wine club members, they will be receiving a 10% discount on prepared food 🙂

 

WINERY/PRODUCTION

This time of year, is very exciting in the winemaking process. It’s a time when we our starting to work on the blends for the 2022 reds as they come closer to bottling, but we also get our first clear look at the 2023 vintage as a whole after it has completed its long fermentation. Both vintages are showing exceptional quality with unique individuality. We have recently revamped our barrel program for our red wines by incorporating a large percentage of one year old (New) French oak barrels. The marriage between these barrels and our wines are proving to be a perfect match softening the wines and imparting subtle hints of oak in our Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
